Patients are assigned a ward or a room based on the type of care they need and the availability of the bed. The care is divided into specialties Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics & Neonatology, Medical & Surgical. The other departments like nursing, physiotherapy, radiology, blood bank, pharmacy, infection control ensure that quality care is provided to all in patient at KGH.

Typically, each general ward houses 8 – 10 beds with separate male and female facility. When patients request a private room we make every effort to meet their request. We have 22 private rooms and 1 VIP room. All private / VIP rooms have an attached toilet, a closet for personal belongings and a bedside control for contacting a member of the staff.

• The Outpatient Department at the KGH is distinguished in providing quality care services to an approximately more than 2000 patients daily, with the outstanding level of expertise of clinicians at affordable rates. Consultant clinics start from morning till late evening and include comprehensive range of obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics & neonatology, medical and surgical specialties for both adults and pediatric patients.

• KGH has extended its services and added a new department Obstetrics & Gynecology Private Wing mainly created for patients and their attendant who want to be treated within a VIP/Executive environment with fully equipped advanced technology Labor Room and Executive, Private, semi private rooms.
