Overview

The Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing, established in 2005, holds recognition from the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) for a range of programs, including 2 Years Post RN BScN, 4 Years Generic BScN, 3 years Diploma in General Nursing (RN), 1 Year Diploma in Midwifery (RM), and 18 Months Diploma in Community Midwifery.

The school’s first batch of students was admitted in 2005, and by 2009, they successfully completed their training, earning Diplomas of RN & RM with an impressive 100% pass rate.

In addition to academic training, students actively engage in Extra Curricular activities, such as Lamp Lighting Ceremonies, picnics, industry visits, medical camps, and in-house celebrations like International Nursing Day, Eid-e-Milad, and Eid Milan, enhancing their overall educational experience.

The School of Nursing operates with essential financial support from:

  • Al-Ameen Foundation (Foundation of Muhammad Ahmad Adaya) since its inception.
  • Janmuhammad Dawood Trust (Muhammad Bashir Janmuhamad Trustee)

  • MBJ Nursing Educational Block inaugurated on 29th Nov, 2018.
  • State of the art block is dedicated for Post R.N Nursing Programs.

Programs Offered

Post RN BSN | 2 Years | Degree Program

Eligibility:

  • Valid PNC License
  • Diploma in General Nursing
  • Diploma in Mid Wifery/ Diploma in Post Basic Specialization
  • One year Clinical Experience as RN
  • No Age Limit
  • Domicile: Only Sindh

RN | 3 Years

Eligibility:

  • Matric Science (at least 55% marks) or FSc (Pre-Medical) (at least 50% marks)
  • Age Limit: 15 – 30 years
  • Domicile: Karachi
  • Only Females can apply.

Generic BScN | 4 Years | Degree Program

Eligibility:

  • FSc (Pre-Medical) at least 50% marks with Biology, Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
  • Age Limit: 18 – 35 years
  • Domicile: Applicant from Sindh will be preferred

RM | 1 Year

Eligibility:

  • Diploma in General Nursing
  • Valid PNC Registration

18 Months
